Entry to the draw is also by official entry form printed in the HEAVY DUTY Issues 156, 157 and 158. Terms and Conditions — Win a trip to Sturgis

The Promoter is HEAVY DUTY Motorsport Tours ABN 40 258 572 055.

Information on how to enter and prizes forms part of the terms of entry. Entry into the competition is deemed acceptance of these terms and conditions.

Entry is open to all residents of Australia and New Zealand over the age of 18 except employees and immediate families of the Promoter.

The competition commences on Monday 1st January 2018 at 12.01am AEST and concludes on Thursday 31 May at midnight AEST. Winner will be drawn 2pm on 1 June 2018. The winner will be notified by telephone or email within two days of the draw. 

Total prize is a 16 day trip to Sturgis with HEAVY DUTY Motorcycle Tours valued up to $15,990.

Entrants may enter the competition three ways: First way is to subscribe to HEAVY DUTY Magazine for two years to gain 12 entries into the draw. Second way is to subscribe to HEAVY DUTY Magazine for one year to gain six entries into the draw. Third way is to enter via official form in HEAVY DUTY Magazine and posting to HEAVY DUTY PO Box 96 Ascot Vale VIC 3032. Filling in the official form will gain one entry in the draw. Entrants may enter as many times as desired provided entry is on official form published in HEAVY DUTY Magazine. Competition is not available to digital subscribers. Entry by subscription must be to print subscription and not digital subscription. Entry by subscription does not need to be on offical form. Subscription may be via website, telephone, or on photocopied form. Only single entries must be on official entry form in HEAVY DUTY Magazine.

The winner will be the first valid entry drawn in accordance with these terms and conditions.

This competition is a game of chance. Skill plays no part in it.

The Promoter’s decision is final and the Promoter will not enter into and further correspondence.

The prize consists of one trip to Sturgis USA with Heavy Duty Motorcycle Tours and includes airfare, late model bike hire, travel insurance, accommodation, fuel (except in Sturgis), use of back up vehicle for luggage, National Park entries, all transfers, welcome dinner, snacks on route and HEAVY DUTY t-shirt and cap. The competition is open to all Australian and New Zealand residents over 18. Trip well depart from Melbourne, Sydney , Brisbane or Auckland. It will be the winner’s responsibility to get to one of these airports. Trip will depart on August 5 and return August 21, 2018. 

All terms and conditions of being apart of the HEAVY DUTY Motorcycle Tour also applies to the winner. This will be supplied on request and will be required to be signed and adhered to upon accepting prize.

Winner will need to have a valid motorcycle licence and may be requested to attend an advanced rider training course at their own expense prior to the trip. 

Winner will be required to have a valid Passport with at least six months validity from August 2018. Winner will be responsible to apply for USA Visa entry requirements which will need to be completed before departure date.

The Promoter accepts no responsibility for change in prize value between now and the ultimate prize redemption date.

If the winner, for whatever reason, cannot or does not wish to accept the trip, the prize can be redeemed for $5000 cash  – which is less than the value of the prize, but will be offered as an alternative prize should the circumstance dictate that winner cannot travel or would prefer not to take the trip to Sturgis for whatever reason. This alternative prize will be at the discretion of the Promoter.

It is a condition of accepting the prize that the winner must comply with all the conditions of use of the prize.

The competition prize winner will responsible for paying all additional costs associated with the prize that are not specifically included (as stated in these Terms & Conditions), including, where applicable, transport to and from the respective airports, additional accommodation fees, meal costs, spending money, insurance, insurance excess costs, petrol in Sturgis and all other incidentals. Winner will be responsible for any additional costs including insurance, excess waiver costs and excess charges in the case of an accident or theft. The Promoter will not be responsible for paying any additional flights that may be required.

The Promoter reserves the right to amend, cancel or suspend this competition if an event beyond the control of the Promoter corrupts or affect the administration security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of this competition. The Promoter will disqualify any individual who has tampered with the entry process or any other aspect of this competition.

The Promoter and their associated agencies and companies assume no responsibility for any error, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operation or transmission, communications line failure, theft or destruction or unauthorised access to, or alteration of entries, and reserves the right to take any action that may be available.

If for any reason this competition is not capable of running as planned, due to (but not limited to) any causes beyond the control of the Promoter, the Promoter reserves the right in its sole discretion to take any action that may be available, and (without limitation) to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the competition, subject to any direction.

The promoter holds no responsibility or liability for the winner. Insurance for any per-existing condition is not included in the prize. The promoter will not be held responsible for any hotel or flight cancellations. The promoter reserves the right to amend the specification of the prize at any time before the competition closes.

In consideration for the Promoter awarding the prize to the winner, the winner hereby permits the winner’s submission, image and/or voice, as recorded, photographed or filmed during the winner’s participation in the prize to appear in connection with the Promoter publications, or the advertising or marketing thereof, in any media whatsoever throughout the world and the winner will not be entitled to any fee for such use.

The Promoter shall not be liable for any loss or damage whatsoever which is suffered (including but not limited to indirect or consequential loss) or for any personal injury suffered or sustained in connection with any prize. The Promoter is not responsible for any incorrect or inaccurate information or for any of the equipment programming associated with or utilised in this competition, or for any technical error, or any combination thereof that may occur in the course of the administration of this competition.

The Promoter accepts no responsibility for any late, lost or misdirected entries.

To the extent of any inconsistency between these Terms and Conditions and any other reference to this competition, these Terms and Conditions prevail.
